I started in the mortgage industry back in 2000. I began my career working as the lead lender for one of the largest builders in the state focusing largely on first time homebuyers. I quickly became an expert in explaining the loan process and building/repairing credit. My reputation has been built on being honest, professional, knowledgeable, and prompt. I also have my bachelor’s degree in nursing and worked in the hospital and in schools. I am still a registered nurse; however, the mortgage business is my full-time occupation. I understand how stressful the mortgage process can be and I try to make it as easy and simple as possible. I treat others how I want to be treated and strive to be a blessing to those around me. I have been married for almost 30 years and have 5 grown children. My husband is an expert in real estate as an agent/broker for over 15 years, and our occupations complement each other well. I can do loans anywhere in the country as I am nationally registered. I have clients from coast to coast. I was born and raised in Des Moines. My husband is a 19-time world champion speedskater also born and raised in Des Moines. We love to spend time with family. My husband and I play on a hockey team together in a league year-round and play in several pickleball leagues as well. We love to skate, bike, run, swim, hike, and most importantly, laugh.
