Mobile Applications

Our Mobile Banking Application lets you access your account balances, deposit checks, make transfers, receive alerts, manage cards, and pay bills on your mobile device according to our Mobile Banking Agreement. This Internet Privacy Policy applies to any personal or other information that we may collect through the Mobile Banking Application.

Digital Banking User Account Deletion

Fortress Bank digital banking customers may request the deletion of their mobile and web banking app user account and associated data.

How do I request the deletion of my user account?

Please visit our Contact Us page and complete the fields on the form including a message requesting the deletion of your digital banking user account. Our digital banking team will confirm and complete your request and notify you when the account has been deleted.

Does the deletion of my Digital Banking user account close my Fortress Bank accounts?

No. The deletion of your digital banking user account removes your ability to sign into mobile or online banking to manage your Fortress Bank financial accounts. It does NOT affect the status of, or your access to, your Fortress Bank financial accounts via methods other than digital banking.

What Data is Retained by Fortress Bank?

When your Digital Banking user data is deleted, the digital banking system archives the deleted data to facilitate account recovery. The archived user data includes information that links your user account to your Fortress Bank financial accounts and your personalized digital banking settings. Archived user data cannot be used to access financial accounts or other protected information. Archived data is retained indefinitely.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our websites or services, or to accommodate new technology or legal requirements and guidelines. Please check our websites for updates to this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will become effective when posted on our websites, unless otherwise indicated.
